Parking at the Workshop

Most workshop participants will want a parking permit for the lot at Granville Towers, which is just a five-minute walk from the Music Department and all workshop activities.

This permit can be purchased with the rest of your registration, and is automatically included with Granville Towers room and board fees.

If you find that you will need a permit after you have already registered, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can have your permit ready for you.

Commuters:

If you will not be staying at Granville Towers but would still like to purchase a parking permit, please indicate this on your application. You can purchase a parking permit along with the rest of your fees.

Other Options:

If for some reason you do not wish to park at Granville Towers, here's a link to the UNC-CH parking map. Click on the top left quadrant of the map to enlarge it; we are near the intersection of Franklin St. and Columbia St.

There is also limited metered parking available on Franklin Street. It can be difficult to find an available space, and the meters can only be set for a limited time.
